The patient has a history of tuberculosis, which has compromised his lung function. Unfortunately, he has now contracted Klebsiella pneumoniae, a severe and life-threatening infection. Despite aggressive treatment, his condition has deteriorated, and he has been on ventilation for the past 10 days.
